The most fun you can have with (some) clothes on.

 Our credo:

Nemo repente fuit turpissimus

The Krewe of C.R.U.D.E. is one of 16-1/2 sub-krewes of the world famous Krewe du Vieux

We are dedicated to insuring that CRUDE behavior, CRUDE displays, and CRUDE humor are forever a part of Mardi Gras in New Orleans.  Krewe of C.R.U.D.E. and Krewe du Vieux preserve the historical spirit of Mardi Gras by parading through the French Quarter with mule-drawn floats and featuring the finest traditional New Orleans brass bands.

Dues news

By vote at the last (well-attended!) meeting dues have gone up slightly to $140 for the NOLA commute area and $160 for out-of-towners.  It was also decided that to retain membership for next year that you should plan to attend at least two costume sessions and two float-building sessions (or 1 float-build and the December fund raiser).  Out of towners are exempted from that requirement, hence the higher dues.  Checks should be made out to "Krewe of C.R.U.D.E."

Krewe du Vieux hysterical semenar

The Colton School asked the leadership to do a seminar on KdV history and most of the seminar was caught on camera.  Former KdV captains and royalty shared their mardi gras experiences. Apologies for technical difficulties during part of the presentation.
